Search Terms
When a visitor types a name, county, state, or similar detail into a search box, that request may be sent to the third-party provider that powers the search tool. Clay County Inmate Population does not keep its own database of those search terms.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read, route, and answer it. Contact messages are not shared outside the organization except when required by law or a valid legal process.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site may receive basic technical information when a page loads or a link is clicked. That information can include:

Indiana public-record and court-access rules, including APRA, IC 5-14-3, and the Indiana Rules on Access to Court Records, govern many official records at the source agency or court. Those rules do not make this private site the custodian of jail, court, or custody records.
Advertising partners may also use their own cookies or tracking systems to measure ads or personalize ads across websites. That activity takes place on their systems, not in a Clay County Inmate Population records database.
